the neon contrast

Hello lovers, here's a simple minimal look: white Zara top matched with a beautiful pearled necklace - also from Zara (one of my best buys). Beige shorts with a cute little bow tie couldn't be more matchy. As I am a lover of the contrast in every outfit, I managed to matched my pastel-colored clothes with some neon coral wedges and voilĂ  tout.

the lace LWD

Hello lovers, the lace LWD (little white dress) is definitely an essential piece in our closets for summer time! It is always so easy to throw on. You can wear it from the very morning until late night for cocktails - just change the shoes (sandals in the morning/heels at night)!

So if you haven't already gotten the message enough, here it is again: LWDs are IN! LBDs (little black dresses) were all the rage (and still are classic pieces) but for this summer season, little white dresses are the trend!

White is a much better contrast against your tan skin tone than black, which can make you seem rather dark and gloomy at times. To style your LWD, you can pair it with some gold-toned jewelries.

vintage is gold

Dear lovers,

we all probably have something vintage in our closets either our mum's bag, or our dad's knitwear, or our granny's jewelleries etc. Keep in mind that any vintage piece is worth more than a brand new piece! Well, actually it's priceless!!! Vintage is gold, dear lovers. My advice: NEVER THREW AWAY ANY LITTLE PIECE FROM YOUR WARDROBES! FASHION IS LIKE A CIRLCE AND WHAT GOES ROUND COMES AROUND BACK TO YOU!!

Take a day-off and dedicate it to new discoveries in your mum's, or dad's or even granny's wardrobes and, trust me, you will find a whole world!! Today's post focuses on my Moschino black belt which is a vintage piece which looks like a brand new. When I took it in my hands I was like "WOW, a Moschino belt?! Seriouslyyyy?!" :) I guess that if I had a brand new Moschino belt, I wouldn't be so excited as when I got my vintage one! Ahahaha told ya, vintage is gold!!!

Rolled pants/jumpsuit is a cool way to change a bit the standard clothing offered to you. By doing so, you immediately create a unique and different look because you don't wear the clothing as it is offered to the public at large; you customize it and makes it fit you better.

Don't forget that rolled pants, also referred to as pegged pants, was a fad of the late 1980s early 1990s in which girls and boys would tightly roll the bottoms of their jeans or other pants they wore.

The flip flops are one of my DIY creations. Although I'm not a DIY-type of person, sometimes when I have lots of free time and my DIY-self wakes up, I surf on web (Pinterest, Tumblr etc) to get inspired. Once I have an idea and a picture imagined of what I want to do, I start working on it.

Obviously any DIY creation is unique because you eventually use your imagination in order to create it. You add your own taste and touch.
